How does Prezzle™ work?

Step 1 - Choose A Prezzle
Now that you are in the wrapping station you have the option to choose a Prezzle. Click on the box you want, and feel free to play with the opening animations and color variations in the right viewing panel.

Step 2 - Attach Gift Certificate
Send a gift certificate from our list of fine retailers: Amazon.com, iTunes, Sephora, Bath & Bodyworks, Target and more.

Step 3 - Personalize Card
In addition to picking out the Prezzle and Gift Certificate of your choice, Prezzle allows you to customize the greeting card the recipient will receive with your own message, a hint for the gift and the opening date. Once this is done, all there is left to do is Checkout using our secure Paypal payment system. We'll send your recipient an e-mail containing a link to your virtual and interactive gift box. They'll be able to interact with the box but will not be able to open it until the date you specified.

Do you actually send a gift-wrapped box?

No, Prezzle is an online service that deals only with the transaction of online gift certificates. It does not handle physical property from third parties.

How is this different from an e-card?

Unlike "free" e-cards that have become vehicles for spy ware and spam, Prezzle is a real service which allows you to send online gift certificates in style. Our goal is to earn your loyalty by providing a great experience for both sender and receiver.

What gift certificates can I send using Prezzle?

Currently you can wrap the following gift certificates in a Prezzle:

Amazon.co.uk (UK)
iTunes.com (USA)
iTunes.ca (Canada)

How much does it cost to send a Prezzle?

To send a Prezzle costs $0.97 plus the value of the gift certificate you're sending.

Do I need to install software?

No, Prezzle is a web based service using Macromedia Flash technology. You only need a web browser and e-mail address to send and receive Prezzles.

What if I am sending a physical gift?

Currently Prezzle only supports wrapping online gift certificates.

Will my gift certificate be safe with Prezzle?

Yes. Prezzles can only be accessed by the link sent in your confirmation e-mail. Gift certificates can only be viewed after the 'do not open' date.

Are my Prezzles confidential?

Prezzles are always confidential and securely protected. Prezzles are only accessed by us in rare circumstances when it is necessary to complete an order. A recipient's e-mail address is not used for any other purpose than to send the e-card. We will never share or sell your e-mail address.

Will I get spammed?

Absolutely not. We will never give, sell, or share your e-mail address. View our privacy policy.

How do I know if my Prezzle has been sent?

Once your payment has been received and your gift certificate is generated, you will receive a confirmation e-mail containing a link you can click on to see the Prezzle.

Why didn't the person I sent my Prezzle to receive it?

This problem most often turns out to be a typing error on the recipient's e-mail address. However, if your recipient's e-mail address is correct, their internet service provider could be routing the Prezzle notification to a junk mail folder.

Solution: Forward the e-mail confirmation you received from us to the intended recipient. The confirmation contains the URL they can click on to see the Prezzle.

Why won't my Prezzle open?

If your e-card didn't open by clicking the link in your e-mail notification, try to copy and paste the URL link into your browser's address line.

We use Macromedia's Flash software to create our animated Prezzles. In order to view these, you need the most current version of Macromedia's Flash Player.

Most web browsers include a version of the Flash Player. If your browser's version of Flash is out of date, you can download the latest version here.

Can I change, cancel or delete a Prezzle order?

Unfortunately, no. Prezzles cannot be changed or canceled once they've been sent.
